General Terms and Conditions applicable to Files Converter services.

Our data

Files Converter is operated by Fahad Usman, registered in Pakistan. Business location: Bahria Springs, Bahria Town Phase 7, Pakistan (2026). In these Terms, “Files Converter”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to the service provider of this platform and related products.

Scope and acceptance

Please read this document carefully. By accessing or using Files Converter services, programs, applications, websites, and tools, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the services.

• You agree to use the services only for lawful purposes.
• You must not infringe rights of others.
• You must not share account credentials with unauthorized users.
• You must comply with data protection laws when handling third-party personal data.

Eligibility

You may use paid services if you are legally authorized in your jurisdiction to enter contracts. If you are a minor, use is only allowed with guardian authorization and supervision.

Updates to these terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect legal, technical, or service changes. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

Limited license

Subject to compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, limited license to access and use Files Converter services and software for their intended purpose.

Except where explicitly permitted, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sublicense, or create derivative products from our programs.

Use of services

You must use services in good faith, following applicable law, public order, and these Terms. Unreasonable or abusive behavior is prohibited, including:

• Automated scraping, bots, spiders, or mass extraction.
• Usage patterns far beyond normal human operation.
• Account sharing, impersonation, or unauthorized account access.
• Malicious uploads, illegal instructions, spam, or deceptive AI/deepfake misuse.

Accounts

Some features require account registration. You are responsible for account activity and credential security. If unauthorized access is suspected, notify support immediately.

Account tiers may include free, premium, business, and special eligibility plans (where offered).

User conduct

The following is strictly prohibited:

• Interfering with service security, stability, or availability.
• Using services to harass, threaten, defraud, or harm others.
• Uploading malware, trojans, ransomware, or harmful scripts.
• Violating intellectual property, privacy, image, or confidentiality rights.

User content

“Content” means files, documents, images, text, and other material you upload or generate via the services. You retain ownership of your content.

Except where a specific service states otherwise, uploaded files are deleted automatically after a limited processing window.

You are solely responsible for legality of your content and permissions required to process or share it.

Fees, billing, payment, subscriptions

Paid services are offered at prices displayed at purchase. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before renewal.

• Billing frequency can be monthly or annual (or contract-specific for business users).
• Taxes may apply according to location and regulations.
• Unpaid balances may result in suspension or cancellation.

Unless required by law or specific refund policy, paid amounts are generally non-refundable once services are consumed.

Free trials

If a free trial is offered, paid billing may begin automatically after the trial ends unless canceled before expiration.

Intellectual property rights

Files Converter and licensors own all rights in software, brand elements, documentation, source/object code, APIs, and associated assets. No ownership rights are transferred to users under these Terms.

Technical support

We provide support channels and may prioritize response levels by account type. To troubleshoot file-specific problems, you may choose to share affected files with support.

Fraud prevention

We may suspend or terminate accounts in case of confirmed fraud, payment abuse, impersonation, or security threats.

Service updates and availability

We may modify, patch, improve, or discontinue parts of services as needed for security, legal compliance, or product evolution.

Liability limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation.

Files Converter is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or reputation, except where liability cannot be excluded by mandatory law.

Links and third-party resources

Third-party links are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse third-party content, terms, or privacy practices.

Social media and promotions

We may operate official social profiles, contests, and announcements. User-posted content on social channels remains user responsibility.

Security attacks and misuse

Attempts to attack, exploit, or bypass platform security are prohibited and may lead to immediate account termination and legal action.

Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., disasters, major outages, government restrictions, war, pandemics).

Duration and termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use our services. You may stop using services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, fraud, legal reasons, or prolonged inactivity on certain account types.

Right of withdrawal (where legally applicable)

If consumer law in your jurisdiction grants withdrawal rights, those rights apply as required. In some digital-service scenarios, withdrawal may end once service consumption begins.

Confidentiality

Both parties must protect non-public confidential information exchanged during service and support operations, except where disclosure is legally required.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan. Disputes will be handled by competent courts with jurisdiction over our registered business location.

Miscellaneous

If any clause is found invalid, remaining clauses remain enforceable. Headings are for convenience and do not alter legal meaning.

Certain services may include additional specific terms. If a conflict exists between these general terms and a service-specific section, the service-specific terms apply to that service.

Files Converter Mobile

Mobile availability may vary by platform. Some tools require internet access and cloud-provider permissions.

Files Converter Desktop

Desktop apps may offer online and local/offline operations depending on tool type and subscription.

Image tools

Image processing services follow the same security, usage, and content-responsibility rules set in these Terms.

E-sign and signature workflows

Signature tools support digital workflow features. You are responsible for legal suitability in your jurisdiction.

API services

API access is subject to technical limits, key security requirements, and fair usage controls.

AI tools

AI outputs can contain inaccuracies. You must validate outputs before reliance. AI misuse, deceptive content generation, and model extraction attempts are prohibited.
